The Barwon Inn is motel accommodation situated 7 km out of Walgett, in North West, New South Wales. It is set amongst 138 acres of bush land and is bounded by The Barwon River. It is considered the quietest accommodation option in Walgett. The business has operated for over 30 years under various names. However, in 2010 it was sold and since then has been given its current name to reflect the history of the Walgett district. At present The Barwon Inn offers 18 motel style rooms. There is currently a DA in place and it is anticipated that a caravan park with an amenities block, camp kitchen and powered sites will be operational by the second half of 2012.
